Determined to ensure proper operations and delivery of the 2023 Census, the National Population Commission, NPC is putting in place a capacity building workshop to train journalists for the exercise.
The acting Director, Public Affairs Department, Dr Isiaka Yahaya in a statement made available to Page3news.com.ng stated that in furtherance of preparations for the successful conduct of the 2023 Population and Housing Census, the National Population Commission is organising a capacity building workshop for the journalists with the theme ‘Getting the People Involved’.
According to Yahaya, the objective of the workshop is to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills for effective coverage and reportage of the 2023 Population and Housing Census.
He said the workshop is scheduled to take place 9th -11 May, 2022 at Jemmyland Hotel, Sani Abacha Road, New Karu, Nasarawa State from 9.00am to 5.00pm daily.
Over 30 journalists across the country have been listed for the first phase of the workshop.
