One of the leaders of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Aniocha South Local Government Area, Dr Tony F.E. Nwaka has resigned from the party.
Dr Nwaka has since pitched his tent with the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC. His formal welcome ceremony is being planned, as the top notches of the APC are being notified of a new member.

In his letter of resignation dated 28 February, 2022 and made available to page3news.com.ng, Dr Tony F.E. Nwaka in part states: “Please be informed that with effect from today Monday 28 February, 2022 I cease to be a member of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP. Recent developments between me and the party have left me with no other option but to seek alternative platforms for the expression of my political beliefs (Alternative pedestals that are more amenable to my convictions about politics and public service).
“Kindly therefore accept this letter as a formal statement of my resignation from the PDP”.
The resignation letter was copied the Chairman, PDP Ward 2, Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South LGA and Chairman PDP, Delta State.
A source disclosed that the high handedness of the leaders of the opposition party in Delta State would force the loyal members cross easily to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
