Residents in Chukuku, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT have barricaded Gwagwalada, a major entry point into the city of Abuja protesting against the incessant kidnapping in their domains, Page3news.com.ng reports.
The protesters took to the streets to demand FG quick intervention in their plight and come to their rescue and aid to combat the violent insecurity.
In photos trending online, the protesters carried placards asking FG to save them from kidnappers.
There is also a security alert advising motorists to avoid the Gwagwalada axis.
