Coach Otto Addo of the Black Stars of Ghana was emphatic when he said last night that his team needs just a goal to take Ghana to Qatar 2022 Fifa World Cup finals, just as the Gideon Mensah, one of the players said the team was not in Abuja for fun.

“We are here for a mission, to snatch the ticket to the World Cup finals in Qatar. We’re not in Abuja for fun, but business”, thus roared Gideon Mensah.
Coach Addo explained that his team was superb in the first leg at the Baba Yara stadium, Kumasi, and would like his team play nice today and win.
“In the first leg we played very well and we have more possession but we have to improve and stopped the Super Eagles from creating chances and also try to score.
“We need just one goal to turn the table against Nigeria’s Super Eagles and have the ticket to the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
“Surely, we want to qualify but I told the players to go out there and have fun, if you make a mistake take it up.
“Even though we didn’t score everybody saw that we played better than before and we appreciate that.
“But in football sometimes you played good and lose and you played bad and win,” he said.
