President Nigeria Rugby Football Federation, NRFF, Dr Demola Are believes that the sport would hotly march football in popularity and Followership in the country.
Dr Are was emphatic when he disclosed to Page3news.com.ng that plans are underway to realise the dream of the game of Rugby becoming more popular than any sports in Nigeria.
“We’re currently operating silently following the sanction of Nigeria.
“We are holding our Congress in March, and officials from Kenya, Ghana and some other African countries are being expected to be physically present to witness the proceedings.
“I believe after our Congress in March, the sanction of Nigeria would be considered for lifting. It’s after the sanction has been lifted that we will roll out our lofty goals.
“Already, we have been strategizing on the marketing, and we are going to come out very strong to dominate the sports scene”, Dr Demola Are said.
